My heart belongs to: him right there.

He's my nephew and he wears a hat well. I don't see him so very often, but obviously that's not the reason I like him ....

A Sunday-something-to-lust-after.

(Not sure when this happened, but suddenly this is Big Bang Theory week..).

Oh my, this isn't high end luxe, but it is utterly brilliant. Although so totally of limited appeal if you don't watch the show enough to know each character at a glance.

Yep, I still want to be their friend.

T-shirt from here.

Saturday snapshot: Or how I learnt gardening.

Yep, that's about all I know. Pull the label out of the plant.

And then run, run away from your sister. Her shirt lapel will get you both.

P.S. Thanks for the SUPER high fringes, ma.

Crushing on The Big Bang Theory.

Ha ha, I totally can't pull off cool-teen-speak, but you know, I do really heart that show.

Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco just did a super cute photo shoot for People magazine - here are a couple of shots so you can join me in cooing over how darn cute they are.

Pics from here.

So darn cute, that's how.

You should also watch their 'we-love-each-other' interview, because they clearly do, and they clearly want me to be their friend. I can tell.

Awesome.

Hmm, interesting...

(Oh the witty link back to yesterday's post title...)

So I may be turning in to a ten year old boy.

In the last few days I have read / re-read the first two Harry Potter books, the first Spiderwick Chronicles book, the first book in the 39 Clues series and I just started on The Hobbit.

I tried the Northern Lights but only read a few pages.

Maybe that one's for girls.

Hmm, pinteresting...

(Yeah, I know, lame kind-of-pun, but the paint fumes are getting to me...)

All the pinning and browsing I did months ago is actually helpful now. We are over half way painting the house and it has made such a difference. The whole house is lovely - clean, gleaming white  (well, one of the hundreds of just-off-white shades).

This means that I can start playing with furniture and styling....

Yeay!

All the pictures are from my Pinterest board here.

Things I have learnt while painting.

Turns out that if you wear latex doctor gloves to stop you getting covered in paint, your hands are sweaty things when you take them off.

Ick.

Turns out that if you get past the sweaty and cover your hands in rich lovely hand cream and wear latex doctor gloves nearly every day for the best part of two weeks, your skin is oh-so-very soft and happy.

Fabulous.
